Booking terms and conditions 

1. Bookings cannot be accepted from anyone under 21 years of age and the Hirer (lead guest) must remain present during the occupancy of the caravan. The caravan is only available to rent to families and responsible couples.

2. Full information requested must be disclosed.

3. The signed booking forms must be returned within 7 days of being sent to you. The booking will not proceed without this signed agreement.

4. This booking is non-transferable. You are not permitted, under any circumstances, to sub-let the caravan. Anyone found doing this will result in the holiday being terminated with no refund and the police will be contacted.

5. Only those named on the booking form are permitted to stay over-night at the property. Spot checks may be made to ensure this is adhered to during your stay. Breaching this condition will result in your booking being terminated with immediate effect with no refund

6. The number of persons occupying the caravan must not exceed the maximum occupancy detailed on the booking form. This is due to Fire, Health & Safety Regulations, Insurance Policies and Site Rules.

7. Bookings are to be accompanied by a deposit of £50 payable immediately at the time of booking (this secures your dates pending final payment). The balance must be paid 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Non-payment of the balance on, or before, the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Hirer – should you cancel, you forfeit the deposit in full.

8. Payment of the deposit is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

9. Last minute bookings : the full rental fee is payable immediately if the occupancy date is less than 8 weeks from the date of booking

10. Should you decide to cancel the booking, this must be done in writing & no refund of any monies paid to date will be applicable.

11. If We Cancel: In the rare circumstances that it is necessary for us to cancel your booking, you will be offered alternative dates (pricing will be adjusted accordingly, but will not be more than the original cost quoted), or a full refund will be given asap if preferred. The Hirer shall have no further claims against us.

12. Refunds or alternative dates cannot be applied whereby cancellations have been necessary due to “force majeure” (such as war, strike, riot, crime, or an event described by the legal term act of God such as hurricane, flooding, earthquake, volcanic eruption, and virus pandemics etc).

13. Should you decide to end your holiday early, you will not be entitled to a refund.

14. Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified, at 3pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10am on the day of departure.

15. The Hirer shall take all reasonable and proper care of the caravan and it’s furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair/condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. The Hirer agrees to pay for any breakages, losses or damage together with any additional cleaning costs incurred.

16. The property is thoroughly checked prior to your arrival. If any problems are found that cannot be rectified before your arrival date, you will be notified immediately along with the details in place for repair/replacement. If this is likely to affect your stay, you will be notified accordingly of any refund due to you. You may also be given the opportunity to book an alternative date (subject to availability) at the same price as the original agreement.

17. Should any damage or breakages occur during your stay, you must contact us immediately. You are liable for any repair or replacement costs as applicable.

18. Should any damage or breakages be found after your departure, you will be notified of the details as soon as possible and photographic evidence will be collected. You are liable for all repair or replacement costs .

19. Should repair or replacement costs be needed you will be invoiced accordingly as soon as possible after your departure. The invoice will be required to be paid in full within 14 days of issue. Should the invoice not be paid, legal action may be taken to recover the cost involved and you will be held liable for all legal fees incurred.

20. Should any damage or breakages affect subsequent bookings in any way, you will be held liable for any refund costs incurred and will be invoiced accordingly. 21. Every reasonable effort has been made to indicate any possible safety hazards. However, it is the Hirers’ responsibility to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. Particularly check the emergency exits so that you can get out quickly and easily. The Owner shall not be responsible for any accident, damage, loss, injury expense or inconvenience which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or is in any way connected with the rental.

22. Your holiday is on a self-catering basis.

23. All utilities (gas, electricity and water) are included in the cost of your break, subject to a fair-use basis. Any excessive use of gas or electricity will be charged to you, the Hirer.

24. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are included with your booking.

25. All electrical (except the fridge/freezer) and domestic goods must be switched off upon leaving the van unoccupied.

26. Please remove all dirty footwear on entering the caravan.

27. The Owner shall be allowed the right of entry to the caravan at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary inspection, repairs or maintenance.

28. Children must NEVER be left alone in the caravan.

29. In accordance with current legislation, as from 1 July 2007, strictly NO SMOKING is permitted within the caravan. You will forfeit the entire security bond if evidence is found that this has not been adhered to. If smoking outside, you are required to dispose of any cigarette stubs in the bins, failure to do could result in losing your security bond.

30. We have a zero tolerance approach to illegal substances. You will be required to leave immediately if any evidence is found, or any substantiated reports are made of such usage, in or around the caravan during your stay. The security bond will not be refunded if evidence has been found and the incident will be reported to the police.

31. Pets are permitted in our holiday home. At no point must your pets be left unattended for long periods and must be  secured in a pet-cage. Pets whenever possible must be kept off the seating area and not allowed in the bedrooms any damage being made by your pet will result in the pet owners responsibility for repair costs

32. Do not disarm smoke alarms or carbon monoxide alarms.

33. Clothes are to be dried on the airier (if provided); at no time are they to be dried over heaters.

34. All windows and doors must be shut and locked securely when you are leaving the caravan unattended (even during hot weather). Failure to do so you will be held liable for any incidents occurring as a result of your negligence.

35. You will be held liable for any loss of keys during your stay with the cost of the lock and key replacement should this occur.

36. Park speed limits must not be exceeded.

37. Please park cars in the allocated areas.

38. Tents are not allowed between caravans.

39. Litter and refuse must be disposed of in the designated areas provided by the park and the area surrounding the hire caravan must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Please ensure any rubbish is taken to the appropriate outside bins on the day of departure.

40. Please keep noise to a minimum and show consideration to other caravan owners and occupants at all times. In the event of behaviour likely to cause any offence or damage to other users of the facilities, the park management reserve the right to remove any offenders from the park without redress to us.

41. Any reports of unacceptable behavior during your stay could .force us to cancel your stay and you would be asked to vacate the caravan no refund would be paid should this occur

42. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to personal property, including motor vehicles, whether malicious or accidental during your stay.

43. Same Sex parties : The site has certain limits on same sex groups (most UK holiday parks will not allow 3 or more same-sex people to occupy one property). This does not apply to same-sex couples, nor would it prevent family members from being able to book (i.e. grandmother, mother, daughter). These constraints are in place to prevent large groups of same-sex parties from occurring on site. Our site is for family-orientated holidays only.

44. Infectious Diseases : should any member of your party contract an infectious disease during your stay, the site will request that you must either remain confined to the caravan or leave the site to prevent the spread of infection. No refunds will be offered in these circumstances and you should take the advice of your medical professional in such circumstances.

45. Complaints : should you have any problems or a need to complain, contact should be made immediately to the ourselves. Any complaints made after your departure will not be considered.

46. No responsibility is accepted by the caravan Owners for any arising situations which affect the entire site (i.e. loss of electricity, water, etc).

47. You have full use of all the items available within the caravan (any items locked away are not for general use). However, it is your responsibility to use any facilities and appliances correctly. No liability is held for the misuse of any item or appliance and they are used at your own risk.

48. You are strongly advised to seek your own travel insurance.

49. Please note as owners we are not allowed to sell or give away passes for the park facilities , so therefore they are not included in the price should you wish to use these facilities park passes are available to buy separately from the reception at the park

50. Paying by installments we can of course take installments up to 8 weeks before your arrival date but please note if the holiday is cancelled in the 8 week period prior to your arrival we are unable to refund any monies payed in installments and no refund will be returned unless we are able to re book the selected dates if we cannot resell the selected date all monies paid will be lost

51. It is also advisable to take out insurance to cover your stay with us should the worse case happen and you have to cancel , we will not be able to refund any monies paid for whatever reason should you not be able to continue with the booking , unless the park was to be closed to the public where on this happening an alternative date would be arranged

52.Please note that your booking is solely for the use of our caravan and as such we cannot guarantee any facilities on the park that Haven provide IE pubs clubs and pool etc these are extra facilities that the park charge for of which we have no control over either the price or the timing or availability of such facilities We do not allow any type of BBQ’S to be lit on any part of our decking area as this is a fire hazard

54.We do not allow Products such as slime or play dough in any part of the caravan wherever the product is bought from . Any damage caused by these products if brought into the caravan will result in the hirer being billed in full for the costs to repair the damage. These products have dye’s in them that are impossible to remove .

55. The Charging of electric cars from the caravan is strictly prohibited the electrics in a caravan is not designed for such use and against the fair usage policy ,anyone caught charging from the caravan will be asked to leave and no refund given.
